A Call for Our Preferences to Matter

I recently read a comment on youtube, which suggested better ways to spend our tax money, instead of it being used to fund or start violent thieving wars (like Israel's), which most people do not even want to be happening. Then I started thinking about what I feel those billions of dollars should be spent on, in order to improve upon our own lives and our own country. Below are seven of my current thoughts on this...

1. Social Security refunds should be raised enough to fill the basic needs of ALL elderly people. And there should be no property or income taxes charged to low income elderly people. None should be living in extreme poverty or without being able to afford to get or keep their own homes. And more must be done to assure that elderly people (even those who are extremely ill) will be able to remain in the comfort of their own homes, until their last breath, if that is what they want. WE MUST TAKE PROPER CARE OF OUR ELDERLY PEOPLE.

2. We should provide far more of a variety of shelters for homeless people; nobody should ever be left in the streets to suffer. And ALL struggling people should have a place to go, where they can feel comfortable - where they can feel and be safe. (Many of these shelters could be compassionate factories where they can both live and work and have the chance to get back onto their own feet and get their own homes.) WE MUST TAKE PROPER CARE OF OUR POVERTY STRICKEN PEOPLE.

3. ALL of our foods should be completely organic, as healthy as can be, and as inexpensive as is possible. Even poor people should be able to afford the healthiest foods. Nobody should be getting rich through selling what people need for their survival. OUR HEALTH MUST BE A NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.

4. Far more should be done to encourage people to feel/heal/open their own hearts and do their best to treat ALL other people with kindness and consideration. OUR EMOTIONAL HEALTH MATTERS AS MUCH AS OUR PHYSICAL HEALTH.

5. Healthcare should be free and should include mostly experts who primarily use herbs and life style changes instead of only pharmaceuticals. Nobody should be able to profit off of people's illnesses, and getting help with treating illnesses should not ever shove people into poverty. OUR HEALTH AND WELLBEING MUST BE A NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.

6. At least our schools, and the residential parts of our communities, should be completely radio wave free. OUR SAFETY MUST ALSO BE A NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.

7. People, outside the government, should have more of a say on what our tax money is spent on; Spending should be based on what the majority of the people want, instead of only on what the president or congress wants. THINGS SHOULD BE SET UP FOR US TO BE ABLE TO MAKE FREE AND EDUCATED CHOICES AND CAST OUR VOTES ON AT LEAST ALL MAJOR EXPENSES.

EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING'S WELLBEING SHOULD MATTER JUST AS MUCH AS EVERYONE ELSES. OUR OWN HEALTH AND WELLBEING MUST BE A NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.
