On Compassionate Understanding

I recently saw a news broadcast where a man defended Trump's bad behaviors by saying something like, "we should try to understand what Trump has gone through." And I agree that we should compassionately do this for Trump as well as for ALL other people who have been through tough times.
It is understandable that Trump would feel angry about losing the election at the end of his first term, and about the masses of charges and lawsuits that were being filed against him during Biden's term, and about the verbal abuse that some people throw back at him...etc. And it is understandable if he struggles due to his upbringing being far less loving than what children need, in order to become healthy and functional adults. I actually have felt sad for him on many occasions.
However, the bottom line is that he is an adult who is responsible for his own behaviors. If he can't heal from the past, or at lease refrain from acting out his own hate and vengeance and prejudice and violent tendencies, and refrain from using his position to illegally feed his own greed (or that of his relatives and acquaintances) he is not fit to be our president. Period.

This is a sad situation for Trump; his experiences and feelings truly do matter, but the safety and wellbeing of all of America and the rest of the world matters more... Compassionate understanding for one person should not enable the continuation of crimes against other people or ongoing mistreatment of other people. Those people matter too and deserve understanding and compassion too! EVERYONE'S FEELINGS MATTER.

Nothing that Trump went through is valid justification for his hateful words and actions against the democrat party and the harmless immigrants and the poor homeless people in America, as well as against the whole population of Cuba, the Palestinian people, the Iranian people...etc.
Threatening or hurting people, especially killing and stealing from people, is wrong no matter what difficulties the culprit went through. And claiming (or pretending) that the victims are "terrorists" or "criminals" does not justify murderous or thieving or abusive behaviors either.

I have wondered if Trump is a mind control victim. But I now doubt that he is, because of things I've sensed and the fact that this scenario has been brought to his attention and he has the capability of protecting himself from it more than anyone. Whether he is a mind control victim or not, it is clear to me that he is an extremely wounded and dysfunctional man who should not be in a position of power, for the sake of the safety and wellbeing of all people. And the same goes for those who have willingly supported or joined in on his destructive behaviors in America as well as abroad.

In general; it's even more important for our far reaching presidents to not be above the laws that have been set up to protect all people, no matter what they have been through in the past. And if they have been through too much to have dignity and integrity and compassion for all people, they should not be allowed to remain in positions of power over others.
