During the USA vs. Iran "peace talks" in Venezuela, the Iranian side got upset about Trump not holding up his end of the deal, in regards to stopping Israel's continued bombings in Lebanon. Iran stated that they will re-close the straight if this continued. (This is actually very understandable. Trump should hold up his end of the deal too, and there should be consequences if he doesn't. Fair is fair.) After Iran did this, Trump reacted with a raging threat to start bombing Iran again and said to the Iranian negotiators, "You won't even make it back to your f***ing country."
Trump's threat is an example of extreme levels of emotional abuse. He was obviously trying to make the Iranian negotiators fear for their lives during the "peace talks." This is also an illegal act, because it is a death threat. The incident appears to have largely been washed away, as if it was OK. But it was NOT OK.
EMOTIONAL ABUSE IS NEVER OK,
especially not during "peace" negotiations.
