The REAL AMERICA

AMERICA IS ALL OF ITS NATIVE AND IMMIGRANT PEOPLE
In the glorious diversity of ALL of our natural colors and
languages and spiritualities and positions in our societies.

It is it's good times and it's bad times - it's successes and it's mistakes.
And it is healing - aiming to do a better job with procuring genuine
equality and safety and peace and freedom for ALL people everywhere.

From her brave stand for Independence to her Trail of Tears, fierce battles between Natives and settlers, and fights to keep or free human slaves resulting in a civil war, her history is filled with both heartache and the (still lingering) hope for freedom and justice and happiness for all who reach her shores and those who had been here long before the first settlers arrived.
Her original Native culture, was nearly wiped out, but what's left of it is beginning to make a comeback. She also embraces many other cultures, that came from near and far, and now thrive in neighboring communities that have a growing respect for each other's differences. They are beginning to learn from each other and grow closer and closer together, like what should have happened, in the beginning, between the Natives and settlers. She is proof that it is never too late to do what is good and right for ALL people. She is America.
