In the Dregs of Humanity

Some people have deceived and deprived
While taking profits for themselves,
Leaving fellow human beings to suffer -
To remain trapped on poverty's shelves.
Some have used other people's struggles
For their own selfish monetary gains,
Then degraded those whom they shoved
Into dark pits of unresolved pains.
And some have blatantly killed to steal,
Like what Israel has done in Palestine,
Then blamed the dead and wounded victims
For its own evil and "terroristic" crime.
Evil has many faces in the dregs of humanity
Where heartlessness has bred hate and greed
And vile wars have hurt the whole world.
But real Love still plants a growing seed.
The Heart of humanity is now rising up
To help the rest of the world to see,
And comfort those who have been hurt.
The Heart of humanity is breaking free.
The Low Society People

They used to label themselves
As things like "Lords" and "Dukes";
That lowest part of our societies
Which deserved immense rebukes
Because of it's heartlessness,
And it's insane levels of greed
For hoards of meaningless things
That fed the arrogance they breed.
I used to think they only lived
In some other places and times,
But now realize how wide spread
Is their continued foolish crimes.
If only they'd awaken themselves
Into a better and gentler role;
One that has a heart to share -
One without a damaging toll.
