The Greedy Apocalypse

How did things get so bad? How did it ever get like this?
The most vile and evil establishing control over all that we miss,
The greedy genocidal pillaging of defenseless people and places,
While removing the usual masks of kindness and other false faces.
In openly performed murderous acts, threats assure their impunity,
And fear of devastation is forced into blinded pretenses of unity.
The real and truthful news is called "fake news from woke losers,"
By the truly fake - the fabrications of the war-mongering abusers.
Who is to help the falling victims in Nigeria, Sudan and Palestine?
How will genuine help arrive when it is already not there in time?
Will Venezuela and Greenland survive greedy aims for oil and gold?
And will Canada lose its independence - will the evil get that bold?
Who will be here for the American people who are being terrorized -
Who will care for the poor and helpless - for their agonized cries?
Its hard to feel hope while they threaten opposition with nuclear war.
Oh, heart of humanity, rise for freedom from all they have in store!
Save the world from every single greedy, prejudice or vengeful war.
Stop them all, and fill the void with Love, like never ever before.
