   Palestine and the Humane Race

We see the remnants of a holy land

Where rubble litters sacred sand.

It must be so hard inside that place

Where they carve scars into your race.

You also reside here, inside our tears

Through all the horrid tortured years.

And into a future still unknown.

I hope you know. I hope its shown.

Its true that you are not alone.

 We cry out from across the sea,

Oh please, set Palestine free,

And wish for more that we can do,

But our hands are often tied too.

I hope you feel our love for you

It is real and huge and very true.

The Blending

My pain blends with yours

Until I can't tell them apart,

Relentlessly tearing

At my broken heart.

Is it yours or is it mine?

I guess its ours

At this point in time.

If only real freedom

Would come our way,

For far longer than

Just a hopeful day,

All wrapped in peace

To forever stay.

I pray.

In what is now left of Palestine, thousands of children have been intentionally killed, and thousands more have been seriously injured by Israel's indiscriminate bombing. This song is a real heart toucher, as are the others I share in the playlist below it, especially during this time when it appears that Israeli bombings are more obviously aimed at Palestinian families - children - the "little hearts" of Palestine...
