Since I was a young child I've always thought of, and felt sad for, the Native American's, especially on the fourth of July, because of what happened to them through the first two centuries of America's existence - being imprisoned on barren lands and then their children abused in Christian schools...etc. Much of what remains of our Native people, still suffer from it today. I wonder how they feel, as the rest of the country celebrates the fourth of July.
Lakota Peyote ~ HEALING SONG ~ https://youtu.be/d_afgeTAopc?si=n4pZZO5LZWKd0Hpf
THE REAL TRUTH IS THAT AMERICA WAS BUILT WITH VIOLENT COLONIALISM
THAT SEVERELY HURT ITS NATIVE PEOPLE, AND HIDING OR DENYING THIS
PUTS MORE OF A BLACK MARK ON AMERICA THAN THE ACTUAL ACTS.
WE MUST FACE AND ADMIT OUR MISTAKES, FOR HEALING'S SAKE.
